This daphne is an evergreen, or semi evergreen shrub covered in very fragrant, star like clusters of whitish pink flowers. Easy to care for, this plant will bring joy during those colder winter months when not too much is in flower. Daphne prefers partial shade to full sun. However, in hotter climates, it benefits from some afternoon shade to prevent leaf scorch. It thrives in well drained, rich, and slightly acidic
