Pair Antique French Semainier Ormolu Marble Chests of Drawers by Kahn & Cie 1895 Drawings & Prints the work is housed inSOLD A very fine pair of antique French Semainier chests of drawers, inlaid kingwood with veined golden ochre colored marble tops & gilt bronze mounts, by E. Kahn & Cie, Paris, circa 1895. This fine & rare pair of seven drawer chests are surmounted with the original marble tops, the chests below are made of kingwood that is laid down in a chevroned pattern. The chests have ormolu bracket mounts to the top, each drawer has a gilt bronze lockplate and
