As the site is just beyond DOCG boundaries to label Barolo he labels it 'Outside,' Sourced from organically farmed vineyards in Montelupo Albese, the wine is fermented with about 80% whole clusters and native yeasts, then aged for over 38 months, w 18 of them being in large oak casks.
