2018 | Charles Heidsieck Rose | Champagne Chateau Canon Chaigneau Fermented in both concrete eggsThe addition of 9% red wine from predominantly Bouzy brings an exciting rich red fruit profile and a twist of spice. The velvety texture is chalky soft, with more of the classic PN fruit showing as apricot, bitter orange & sweet peach. The rose is more expressive of the pair showing fruits like rich dark cherry, blackberry and pomegranate. Super delicious expression of a 2018 with plenty of acidity on the finish.
