Maryland Terrapins 1985-1986 Retro Shorts Size:S Gathered elastic waistbandFresh off a Sweet 16 run the year before, Lefty Driesell's Maryland Terrapins team entered the 1985 86 season hungry for more. Ranked #19 in the AP Poll the Terrapins had to knock off #1 UNC in order to make a late push to be invited to the NCAA Tournament. After finishing the regular season 15 12 Maryland was happy to accept an invite as the #5 seed in the West. After beating Pepperdine in the 1st round, Maryland lost to #4 seed and 11th ranked UNLV.
