2023 | Joseph Drouhin Les Baudes | Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Isola dei Nuraghi IGT creamy and freshThis is serious wine, with ripe plummy fruit and a suggestion of black tea scented with bergamot, anise and earth. The texture has heft, with abundant extract and firm tannins, although there is nothing overly heavy or astringent here. The grapes are from very old vines planted on the iron rich terres rouges soils at the base of Bonnes Mares.
