Description
2017 Domaine Camus Bruchon & Fils Bourgogne Pinot Noir
made from grapes picked seven days earlier
Aged for eight months
From a newly acquired parcel in the wind-swept Schneidersberg section part of the Thörnicher Berg – this is in a side valley behind the main Ritsch and has a southwest exposition as opposed to most of the other sites listed here which face directly south
2021 Philip Lardot, Riesling 'Der Hirt' Landwein Trocken Mosel, Germany Speyside 2017 Domaine Camus Bruchon &der Hirt is sourced from a south facing, red slate sandstone vineyard called Valwiger Herrenberg. As he is bottling everything as "Landwein", he is unable to indicate the vineyard site with such a wine, so Philip has created a persona, der Hirt or shepherd. This is, after all, the Herrenberg, or, hill of the shepherd. There are two parcels here that Philip worked (0. 21 hectares combined), both terraced, einzelstck vineyards with ungrafted vines
