2024 Weingut Wasenhaus, Spatburgunder 'Bellen', Baden. Germany Koehler-Ruprecht 29-hectare parcel on the northernA Pinot Noir grown on limestone clay soil in Kirchhofen and Pfaffenweiler. Grown on steep slopes with a west orientation and worked mainly manual, the vines are French and German clones w some selection massale. Fermentation with 40% whole clusters with the German clonal material being left whole as the grapes are bigger and vines older. In the beginning as a carbonic maceration and afterwards in a classic open vat fermentation with some punch downs.
