I have found records of Houle's in operation at least as early as 1919 at that location

painted on a plate (I thought was wood but now am thinking is likely hard paper mache) with a hanger on the back

to deliver in secret

but it's the flip side that is the really special one to me

Excellent Untouched Set of Four c. 1930s Die Cut Skulls Clark University I have found records ofJust in time for Halloween. I can't say I much identify with dealers heavy into holiday stuff, Halloween or Christmas or otherwise (valentines are a different story of course), but I find this old card of four punch out die cut skulls elegant, concise, and rather transcendent of season. C. 1930s or so I believe and in great condition. 5" x 4" and in very good condition.
