Description
There is a velvety side to this Lupicaia
but neither weighty nor over the top as might be expected for a wine of such extreme richness
flowers and crushed shell
The two plots total one hectare at 950 meters in altitude
Gerard Raphet, Chambolle Musigny Brut Zero There is a velvety side(from Les Bussires; note that this wine in some markets is labeled as such). Ripe aromas combine moderately high toned notes of red currant, raspberry and even a wisp of cranberry with those of exotic tea, spice and a hint of violet. The rich, caressing and very round middle weight flavors conclude in a firm and lingering if mildly edgy finish. This is really quite pretty though the balance isnt completely dialed in.
