not huge amounts of charm even at 10 years old - needs longer

Not surprisingly this will require extended patience and particularly so in magnum format

Chappellet, Signature Cabernet Sauvignon Vintage:2019 Pinot Noir and Chardonnay77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Petit Verdot, 8% Malbec, 3% Merlot. Harvest 25 September to 30 October. pH 3. 78. Warm and spicy on the nose, the alcohol is a little evident. There is real grip to the palate, chalky tannins bringing definition and structure. Cassis and chocolate come together, this is true Cabernet. The alcohol however lingers on the finish much as on the nose. (TP)
