I just think it is a pretty great object

The handle extends through a hole in the flat

and with a super long tail

It measures 8 ¾” long and 2” across at widest

Hand-stitched "Bicycle Brush" With Long Wooden Handle Art Deco planter I just think it isI've looked and looked, but have not been able to find another brush quite like this one, marked "Bicycle Brush" on its long wooden handle. I'm guessing the mark is a literal descriptor, and that this brush was for cleaning the spokes of an old bike? I really love its form, and especially the wire stitching, visible on its spine, which holds the bristles in place. I'd add it to a beautiful brush collection, but with its narrow head and long handle
