The color is a sensational black/purple and the nose offers gorgeously intense aromas of black plums

The 1999 Barolo Le Rocche del Falletto is a knock out

I suspect it will be all of those things again in a number of years

This is quite simply terrific but at the risk of sounding like a broken record

Louis Jadot (Duc Magenta), Puligny Montrachet Garenne Vintage:2013 The color is a sensational(from a parcel owned by Domaine Duc de Magenta). A smoky nose features notes of petrol, mineral reduction and super fresh green apple scents. The rich and solidly concentrated medium bodied flavors also flash a pungent minerality that adds a sense of lift to the youthfully austere and sneaky long finish that is even more tightly coiled. This is potentially outstanding though at least some patience is strongly advised.
