Women's Dallas Diamonds team-columbus-crew Cade Cunningham and Jalen DurenThe Women's Pro Basketball League was the first of its kind in the United States. From 1978 to 1981, the Dallas Diamonds blazed a trail for equality across the country, and helped pave the way for the WNBA years later.
