C. 1850s Native American Finely Beaded Wool Pouch, Seneca or Wabanaki victorian clay edging super sturdy and soundly madeThis is an early one, mid 19th century I believe, glass beads on red wool ground, with green silk border and light blue interior, polished cotton I believe. There was a great deal of similarity between Wabanaki (especially Mi'kmaq) and Iroquois (specifically Seneca) beadwork during this period; I am not expert enough to attribute definitively.
