Description
The 2012 Pavillon Rouge is soft
The 2023 Pinot Noir Momtazi is from a section within the higher volcanic elevation section of 115 and 114 clones
The intense and tautly muscular big-bodied flavors that are slightly wild in character display outstanding length on the structured and youthfully austere finish that is shaped by dense but fine tannins
More moderate wood influence more easily allows the pretty if reticent nose of various dark berries
Jean-Paul Droin, Chablis Vaulorent other_regions_italy The 2012 Pavillon Rouge is(from a . 33 ha parcel). A much cooler though still ripe nose reflects pure, airy and elegant notes of oyster shell, quinine, pear and tidal pool. The rich, generous and refined medium bodied flavors are shaped by lemon tinged acidity on the agreeably dry youthfully austere finale. This quality effort should amply reward mid term cellaring.
