They are made from stainless steel with a polished finish which makes them durable and rust resistant. They have imperial graduations in 1 16ths on the long leg and 1 32nds on the short leg. Graduations are photo etched and black filled for long life and easy readability. Squareness accuracy is to JIS Standards of 0. 004" per 3. 937". In our testing we found them to be
