Philippe Jouan 'Aux Echezeaux' Gevrey Chambertin 2020 deliversomm These elegant and approachable winesFrom a parcel of 80 year old vines touching Chames Chambertin, the 2017 Gevrey Chambertin Aux Echzeaux is, as usual, Jouan's finest village wine. Wafting from the glass with aromas of smoky plums, cassis, loamy soil and licorice, it's medium to full bodied, fleshy and richly structured, with good concentration and juicy acids.
