Description
I very much like the balance as the firm acid spine is well-integrated though note that this too is going to require at least 5-ish years of cellaring first
(a monopole of the Domaine with 35+ year old vines and much rockier soil than Columbière - 100% new wood)
There is a lovely sophistication to the mouth feel of the intensely mineral-inflected medium-bodied flavors that also possess wonderfully silky tannins though the natural firmness of a fine Fuées makes its presence known on the gorgeously subtle and persistent finish
There is good volume and concentration to the medium weight flavors that exude a lovely minerality onto the cool
Jean-Philippe Fichet, Bourgogne Blanc Vintage:2017 I very much like the(100% from Meursault vines planted in soil with high clay content). Green fruit, zest and white orchard fruit aromas give way to succulent, round and delicious flavors that are shaped by citrus tinged acidity that carries over to the nicely vibrant finish. A competent Bourgogne. (86 88) 2020+
