Another thing I like about her is that I can't quite pin her down--definitely she feels fairly stoic and intense (with pencil-drawn pupils that seem as if they might emit laser-beams)

Painted Cut Tin Bird on Branch pattern drawing what could be betterI really love the marbleized paint on this tin cutout bird on branch, making it feel a bit as if hovering in the shadows, or maybe persevering through snow and rain and wind. I believe tin cutouts like this were sometime used as quilt templates; whether that is the case with this one I am not sure, but it seems to have age to it. I might hang it in a corner fairly high up as if perched in a tree top and keeping watch. 9 3 4" t x 4 1 2" and in very
