Description
a smectite soils probably gave Christian Moueix and Jean-Claude Berrouet a slight advantage given its propensity to retain moisture and prevent hydric stress
This mineral-suffused effort is very Chambolle in character and should be approachable young

Georges Mugneret Gibourg, Chambolle Musigny Feusselottes Vintage:2008 a smectite soils probably gaveThis is notably ripe though still pleasantly fresh with its spiced plum and red and black pinot fruit inflected nose. The rich, silky and utterly delicious middle weight flavors are shaped by ultra fine tannins on the balanced, palate coating and beautifully persistent finish. This is very Chambolle and the sense of harmony is extraordinary. In a word, excellent. 92 2019+
