I'd bet this lovely Universal glass Prohibition era hip flask has a pretty rich history

and then the pitcher-type flower with tall stamen at right

and one might guess that the whole ensemble

Huge Vintage British Stick Pin Roll (Beautiful Readymade) bridge pencils I'd bet this lovely UniversalI've been eyeing antique pin cushions lately where someone's name or a message was painstakingly spelled out in pins, which has me thinking about the decorative potential of pins stuck in all sorts of things. But, also, I think this huge roll of them is just a beautiful readymade object as it is. I also like the paper wrap around the outside reading "pins pins pins." These were made by Dennison and I believe date to the 1950s or so. 5 1 4" in diameter
