Many Times Framed 1870s-80s Naive Graphite Portrait of Joseph L. Everitt (with Architectural Drawing on Reverse) house shaped coin bank Thibet: 5" x 5 7/16"This portrait drawing came out of an old, falling apart sketchbook I found in Pennsylvania, definitely of the place. I have not found a definitive record for Joseph L. Everitt but haven't done a deep dive; I have found a few Everitt families in Pennsylvania in the 1800s. I believe this drawing dates to the 1870s or so, and just find a wonderfully charming portrait, especially for the marvelous framing, many times over! And for his tiny hand, tucked
