taking in to the old “Fine Art Rooms” at Boston’s Jordan Marsh for custom framing

and I'll continue to snatch them up when I see them as I think they are just gorgeous

Sweet Antique Whimsy Cup with Cutout Shields and Diamonds antique carved wood doll 1 1/2" across at ferruleA very sweet little old cup or goblet, carved of one piece of wood a whimsy of sorts, and of course with those diamond and shield shaped cutouts all around, not one one could drink out of! Nice form, including the tiered pedestal base. With a nice warm dry wood patina, late 19th c. or so, I would guess. 3 3 8" t x 1 5 8" in diameter and in excellent condition.
