Feels more 1920s than 1940s to me, and she's also got a bit of the the Bride of Frankenstein about her, as if just zapped with bolt of electricity. Marvelous patterning on her bathing suit, and marvelous claw like hands! And with the border around her evoking light bulb framed mirror: a superstar! 11 x 7 1 4". Blue ink and graphite on paper, very good condition.
