I'd guess this old cutout wooden stork head was once attached to a body and lived in a yard or garden somewhere

and she is definitely one with whom I think I'd hold a lively ongoing conversation

There is a fold at upper right and a bit of creasing along the bottom edge

one could perhaps stash all one's unlucky things in it

Nice Old 14 Inch Carved Whimsy Chain man with cap I'd guess this old cutoutThis old whittled whimsy chain, carved from one piece of wood, has a lot of character, with squarish links that very much show the hand or blade, rather of its maker. I might hang this one on the wall from one nail at the center with the ends hanging down, as it feels like they want to rattle against each other, ideally in a very old, maybe haunted, house! 14" l x 13 16" w. There is one rough patch on one link, as pictured.
