The Eve of St Agnes James Walker September 3rd 1866'The Eve of St Agnes'; or 'The Flight of Madeline and Porphyro during the Drunkeness attending the Revelry', 1848. A man and a woman prepare to leave a room where men lie drunk on the floor, and others can be seen through the arches on the left. Two dogs are seen at left. The subject is taken from Keats' poem of the same title.
