I'm no glass expert, and don't know whether that is correct or not; it seems possible to me that it has endured a fire since, which resulted in its beautifully misshapen form. Whatever the case, it appeals to me in many of the same ways as ancient Roman glass vials do encrusted, highly sculptural, and delicate aqua blue with lots of bubbles in the glass and thick walls
