Description
quince and white currants
concentrated yet impressively refined wine with plenty of inner mouth perfume as well as an abundance of palate coating old vine sap that serves to cushion the still quite firm tannic spine on the strikingly persistent finish

Lignier Michelot, Morey Saint Denis Vv Vintage:2019 quince and white currants(from a blend of Trs Girard, Les Cognes and Chenevery). A ripe, fresh and equally floral suffused nose offers up a mix of red and dark currant tinged with crushed fennel. The very rich, caressing and seductively textured mid palate contrasts somewhat with the punchy, powerful, dusty and robust finale. At least some patience will be required for his very good Morey villages.
