Vintage 1960s Wooden Crate - Undina Beverage Company - Connecticut White Birch Beer plant holder Sesame Seed Shortland{HISTORY} Named after the goddess of water, Undina Beverage Company located in Higganum, CT was known around the country for its white birch beer created from a Scandinavian recipe by Otto Carlson in the 1870s. A key ingredient to Otto's carbonated beverage was the crystal clear spring water stream he found running down a hillside in Higganum. "The wild heart of nature," Otto called the stream's environs "that continuously leaps and dances." Undina
