Fossil Face! folk art flour mill with the lovely star madeI found this one in one of my favorite shops in New Hampshirea place that feels like a cabinet of curiosities, modern, antique, and ancient, including lots of specimens decommissioned from old science departments and the like. I dont know much about fossil identification, but this rock certainly looks to me as if capturing the impressions of a whole lot of small shells what immediately struck me, though, is that it looks very much like a face in
