It reads from a one degree area through a big, bright viewfinder, displaying an EV number on an easy to read analog scale which can be transferred to built in calculator dial to provide exposure options. Viewfinder has a line across its top third which does not materially affect the view or the function but which you'll notice when you look through. All readings are accurate,
