A discreet application of wood sets off a cool and ultra elegant nose that offers up scents of pear, pineapple, white flowers, sea water and oyster shell. There is excellent volume to the medium bodied and admirably concentrated flavors yet this is not really a powerful wine so much as it is focused and harmonious; indeed the word Zen describes the gorgeously well
