Carved Marble Alter with Mirror and Praying Bisque Figures in Niches ladies leg horseshoe which I purchased from aI'm not entirely sure what to make of this one, but I love it a carved marble, tabletop scale sort of shrine or alter, with mirror atop and bisque figures populating its niches, all of them praying. I was told Vermont marble and that the figures were antique Bennington (white ones would be called Parianware I believe) but I'm not sure they could have been made to look older than they are? Whatever the case, a satisfying sort of tabletop architecture
