Antique Cut and Folded Paper Star unusual fans and based on how itAnother small antique cut paper creation, which would make a lovely companion to the heart just listed, but nice on its own like a snowflake as well as a study in geometry! All cut from one piece of paper, folded at every other cut to form diamonds within the larger diamond (or an eight pointed star.) 3" x 3 1 16" and in very good condition, with minor toning. 19th c. I believe.
