Very Finely Pinpricked Leaf with Face on Yellow Paper, Earlier 19th Century victorian boot And so she seems toI love this for feeling like a magical little secret, and that the paper should be sun yellow is just right. Its survival feels pretty miraculous too easy to miss that this is anything more than a plain slip of paper. My efforts to photograph the very finely pinpricked design fell a bit short, but details give a sense. It looks to me that there is a figure nestled into the face of this leaf, with face in 3 4 profile, perhaps an acorn hat on his head!
