Folk Art Pelican with Fish in Mouth organic I think I'd hang itI'm usually finding carvings of shorebirds around here, so was happy to find this migrated pelican the other day in Maine, looking so exotic! In his long beak he holds a little painted wooden fish, the tail end of which looks to be lost but that seems fairly appropriate. Nicely color, satisfying swirly paint for the wings, and on a great solid wood base. Unsigned. 7 11 16 t X 5 1 4 w (measured on the square). 3 5 8 x 3 1 8 d base. Very good overall
