so probably better not to put on a pristine surface--or else one could certainly adhere a new paper or felt bottom

and then on reverse just this funny little patch of colorful stitched blobs which just seem like a little flurry of exuberant moments

which in this case I don't feel detract a bit

With nice brass nails all around, too. Good still for holding matches, or other precious little things. 2 7 8" x 1 13 16" x 3 4". Good overall condition, with one little split near the top of the spine as detailed.
