She's got a bit of the Rodin about her in aspiration, but I think more the spirit of a Rodin watercolor than a sculpture, much looser, and her face is more Picasso or de Kooning esque! Altogether she feels one part academic, one part folk, and with a sort of crusty surface that makes her feel as if she were long buried and just dug up, like an ancient fertility goddess! Great from every angle
