The art was initially purchasedThis original painting, duly signed by the late noted Haitian Gesner Armand, depicts a boy with his red bicycle behind a tree. It's a 14"x 11" oil on canvas painted circa 2005 from the private collection of Myriam F. Nader. Gesner Armand was born in 1936 in Croix des Bouquets. He was initiated into drawing and watercolor at the Centre d'Art in 1956 and was granted a scholarship by the French Government in 1961 to study art in Paris. He lived in Paris
