Tiny Carved Wood Nude Woman slab pottery I'd guess this hand-thrown potteryI love how this tiny carved woman stands in what is almost the classical Venus Pudica position, like a rustic little version of Aphrodite. Her right hand is a bit lower, though, touching her belly rather than covering her breasts, making me think she may be a fertility figure. I'm not sure where she's from but she's definitely got some age (the tips of her breasts, particularly, are pretty well worn), and I think she's really wonderful. 1 3 4" tall x
