The Cross, Banbury mb-code 1631922 Quercus nigra'The Cross, Banbury', Oxfordshire, 1910. Stone monument erected in 1859 to commemorate the marriage of Queen Victoria's daughter Victoria, the Princess Royal. The cross in the children's rhyme: Ride a cock horse to Banbury Cross, was destroyed in the 17th century. One of the Moreland Series of postcards.
