to my eye beautifully aged

2 1/2" l x 2" t x 1 7/16" w measured on the square and in very good structural condition

the warmth of its patina and the care invested in its making are all the more palpable

I believe they were are practice efforts in advance of making theorem paintings or decorating tinware (tole painting) and incorporate a combination of painting done with stencils and by hand.
