Nice Old Fat Chip Carved Tramp Art Frame with Glass puppet making book 3 1/2” across at baseI rarely come across a tramp frame as satisfyingly wide edged as this one, which gives it a terrific sculptural presence on the wall. And the unpainted wood is a really wonderful warm brown, which makes it feel simultaneously stately and rather coziness inducing. There are a total of six chip carved layers (five stacked on top of the base layer) and what I believe is its original glass (which I removed to photograph it) with a sturdily attached wired
