Charles Lachaux, Volnay Les Santenots Vintage:2018 all of the wines fermentedThis too is conspicuously floral in character with its more elegant and spicier aromas of both red and dark pinot fruit that is cut with hints of earth, anise and violet. There is even better volume and power to the muscular and lightly mineral inflected flavors that culminate in a compact, dusty and very serious finale. This appears to be quite promising though note well that at least moderate patience is advised.
