with the faces of the drawers stained what looks like three different shades

but so good

and shows dark red on the printing side around the silver of the raised letters

Terrific face, and ears, and warm patina to the dry wood surface. A total charmer. 4 3 4" l x 3 1 4" t x 1" w and in great antique condition, late 19th early 20th c. I would guess. Looks like he once have had a rope tail, as detailed.
