The box is in very good vintage condition
and while the cards show their age
as I found one in the collection of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts portraying the death of a general at the Battle of Bunker Hill in 1775
and there are a couple of small patches of loose stitching--on one side of the head and on the side of one knee
Northeast Coast Native Basketry Sewing Scissors Holder contemporary The box is in veryThis is a sweet little Northeast Coast Native American handwoven sweetgrass and splint ash basket made to hold a small pair of sewing scissors. The two little loops at top, which mimic the shape of scissors handles, could be used for hanging it from a belt, hook, or ribbon on the wall. 3" long x 1" wide x 1 2" deep and in very good condition.
