It has aged better than Les Asteries and I would be inclined to drink this over the next 5-7 years
Bass Phillip, Pinot Noir Estate Vintage:2019 offset by exotic sweet spicesThe 2018 Estate Pinot Noir shows a slightly smoky, cured meat edge on the nose, no doubt from a substantial portion of new French oak, alongside hints of sous bois, cherries and beets. The fruit is sweeter and purer than in the Crown Prince bottling, more concentrated and medium bodied, with ripe, tea like tannins and bright acids on the lingering finish.
