I've been looking a long time for an antique shellwork box to really love

this set was made for Ringer's Cigarettes (Edwards Ringer & Bigg)

another of which I can't find out there anywhere

Crazy Giant Vintage Wooden Hand-carved Car visual perception My photos are not greatA crazy thing, found in Concord, NH this carved wooden car is over two feet long. (Forgive the crummy photos, this was way too big to fit in the light box!) I don't know much about cars but believe this was modeled on a Nascar type race car (maybe a Ford Mustang?) and I'd guess dates to the 1980s or so. I like it for feeling quite absurd, and also for its maker having clearly been much committed to their vision, with quite a lot of love and care
