Spain, Spanish State. An Order of Cisneros, Grand Cross Breast Star Newly Listed with clasps SOUTH AFRICA 1901(Orden de Cisneros). Instituted in 1944. Two piece construction, in silver gilt with red, black and yellow enamels, with two pins securing the eagle insignia to the Maltese cross and arrows base, measuring 67. 3 mm (w) x 69. 2 mm (h), ornate vertical pinback flanked by dual stays, enamels are intact, near extremely fine.
